Eastwood Builders uses a number of different kinds of decking materials based on each customer's needs and preference. Some customers prefer the look of cedar or tropical hardwoods; others opt for low-maintenance composite decking, such as what is manufactured by Trex, EverGrain, Timbertech, Azek or others.

Railing selection also is based on what would work best for each particular project. Common railing options include wood, wood with aluminum balusters, cable railing, ornamental iron, aluminium, and glass with aluminum or wood posts.

As a licensed contractor, Eastwood Builders obtains building permits when applicable and meets with city inspectors as required. Owner Eric Bloedel attends annual contractor classes and industry events to stay current on the latest codes and new product introductions.
